General Information !

Once upon a time, we lived in a dream. Well it wasn't quite a dream I would say, it was real... in a sense. All of our dreams took place in a forest that sat on a lake which sat in the sky which sat on a cloud. It was a beautiful forest, where the trees were laced with gold and velvet ribbons and the flowers would smile back to you on sunny days. I can't say for sure if it will come back, maybe if you close your eyes the forest will let you in again.

Sleep with one eye open tonight, you just might miss something important if you neglect this little announcement board. You'll find useful updates and other nifty events inside every once and awhile. Well... when we feel like getting to it. Trust me... they'll be good, I promise.

Advertisements !

A board especially made for being vain. Basically, this is where we dispose of all the guest advertisements. I mean... this is where you can promote your own site freely. Sometime ago someone hammered a big 'ole sign up for you to read. It contains the guidelines you need to follow, I suggest stopping for a few minutes and reading it. (;

Introductions & Aways !

Formal introductions are always a hassle, but I suppose it's necessary. However, we'd all be delighted if you let us know a little something about yourself so we can ~~kidnap you~~ greet you back. If you're taking a leave of absence don't forget to let us know, otherwise we might think you've left and will never return. That would be a shame, wouldn't it?

Birth ! Are you ready to step into the forest? Your dreams are waiting for you, whether they're good or bad, your fate is on the other side of that gate. Don't forget to try your best and fill out all the aspects of the form you can. Remember, your character is yours to create and nothing should hold you back from that other than your own imagination. The sky is the limit. I promise.	Plottage ! A place just for you and your friends to devise elaborate assassination projects to murder other members. Or you can just use it to think up some interesting plots for your characters. The possibilities are endless and the fate of your character rests in your hands. Don't forget to use your brilliant imagination to "wow" everyone else.
Adoptions and Breeding ! Basically, about 50% of this board will be filled with starving, homeless characters. We keep them all chained up in cages, but be careful anyways some of them try and jump out at you when you're not looking. The other half is so you can apply for your pups. It's a much quieter place, since we sound proofed the other half.	Log Books ! There's always more to a story than what's on the cover. By reading between the lines you'll discover the extra bits if information you would have missed. By posting extra tidbits about your characters, you're entitled to make your character much more well rounded. †
Archives ! Access the memory database. Old stories and tales are stored here for later reads. Like a giant well, the liquid at the bottom glows blue, and when you peer inside you'll be able to take a peek through the past. Threads that are inactive for more than a week are compiled here. †	The House of Nox ! Where your dreams and nightmares materialize into something of a companion. In other words, apply and customize an animal companion for your character. Companions are not characters to be played by themselves, the are simply "company". †

Requiem ! Before you enter the forest, you'll set foot upon a shallow lake. The water has only ever risen just above your paws. On either sides, the water dwells on forever and the horizon line doesn't exist. Rather, the sky and the water have intermingled together with a thick layer of fog and stars. To the north, is the forest entrance, which is the only visible piece of land. Like an entrance, giant trees part ways and form an arch where you can hear the harmonic voices of angels singing a lullaby as you draw closer.	The Abyssal Pier ! To the right upon entering the forest lays a rocky pier. The leftover ethereal matter before the forest intermingled with the very essence of time. The flow of space has completely stopped and it continues to halt as you wander past the rocky ledge. Like an ocean of stars, but instead of falling you float, or rather you can step on the glittering masses and use them as stepping stones. Don't worry, you can't fall through. †
The Quadrivium ! If you keep straight, instead of turning towards the Pier, you'll reach a fork in the road. In the middle stands a well, where a pool of galaxy sits at the bottom. Only during the Ethereal Season does the pool rise to the brim of the well. It is known that if you peer at your reflection, you'll see things that you most truly desire. Whether it was in your past or your present, not all of it is good. †	The North Road ! The north road, a place where snow sprinkles on the ground all year around. Although it never stays on the ground, the snowflakes continue to fall and melt when they hit the warmth of the ground. This particular road is one of the only spots where it snows all year around, every day and every night. It can be grimly chilly at night, but during the day some would say the snowflakes like to dance for you.
The East Road ! A bit warped in nature, the east road is nothing to scoff at. The trees are almost limp, but they stand at such a position where their branches twist and curl unnaturally. The grass is a charcoal grey with no such sign of any other type of vegitation. The eerie, quiet tone could make anyone go mad if they stayed in too long. Or it could be the fact that a pair of wandering eyes has watched you creepishly through the bushes.	The West Road ! Not exactly a road at all, more like a hill really. However, the remains of an old dirt road extends its way up the hill which covered in green, lushful grass. The beginning of new flowers poke their heads above ground and scatter themselves at the base, clusters becoming more prominent as the top is neared. At the very top of the hill a single tree sits. The leaves are a very appealing green, while it proudly bears a purplish fruit. Dare to eat one?

The South Road ! The south road is neatly hidden from the other roads, although you can clearly see it's pathway it intertwines so much that getting lost is much too easy. The vague markings of a leftover road only give someone the bare minimal guidance to their destination. Grass has overgrown most parts and groups of funny looking insects cluster around your feet, only stepping aside once and while to avoid getting squashed. The tangled mess has never been fixed.	Limbo ! Limbo. The corrupt field of dead infants and wandering souls. The restless spirits of the dead, well some of them, mourn and take refuge here. It is no more than a desert that reeks of death and loneliness. Like entering a stuffed chamber, the aura you could say, lacks oxygen. There is never a shortage of stories though, and everyone who enters has nothing good to tell about it... if you manage to make your way out.
Memento Mori ! Almost as bad as Limbo, Memento Mori serves as an object of death. Or rather, a reminder of death. It serves as an empty stall of nothingness. Like an empty room, it's walls look like they've been painted white. The feeling of a black and white mirage of past and present sorrows, it warns you as you wane for your own life. It is presented as a sad place, and there really is no reason for anyone to visit unless their problems have grown so much that they rather rot in here than bare their own life outside.	Medium ! A representation of life. Medium is but a field of grass and flowers that glow at night. Clusters of untamed trees gather and weave through the light breeze that passes when the sun falls. However, the already lit up bunches of grass make a pathway, if you follow it, it will take you to a cave. This cave is not visible during the day and can only be accessed by following the lit up path. Wondrous crystals glitter on the cave walls, a long with old paintings from years and years before. †
Nimbus ! The castle in the sky, or really, what's left of it. Ruins of an old, poorly built building sits on a floating piece of land covered by the clouds. It's history remains unknown even to the elders. Every once and awhile a few pieces fall towards the ground but dissipate before it can touch the earthly dirt. Normally, Pegasus can only reach it, but every night when the moon is highest in the sky an array of stairs lead the way to the top.	Aurarius ! A magnificent cave of gold. It's not a very large cave, but a pool of golden liquid sits contently in the middle. Its glittering aura bounces off the walls and creates a show of yellow light. Although you can't see your reflection, your coat can stain yellow if you stay in too long. It's not permanent though, and will wash off within a few weeks at the latest. †

Graphics ! Feeling artistic? You can share your creative adventures here, a long with any other arts and crafts you may have done. Members would be happy to take a look at your creations. Or perhaps you need some sort of graphic for one of your characters. Feel free to request here.
